An improved technique for power transformer protection using fuzzy logic protective relaying

چکیده

The three-phase power transformer in the transmission or distribution substations represents one of essential devices on electric networks. Losing this devise cause a disconnection utility to large number electrical loads. robust protection system must be designed protect device during abnormal operations. A complete for poly-phase Karbala networks (East substation) is modeled and simulated, adopting fuzzy logic protective relaying using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. This study discusses logic-based safety, as well internal faults that are clearly identified. Two principles operation used transformer; differential relay overcurrent relay. proposed unit protection, while backup protection. controller (FLC) detect operation; it also organize between numerical results clarify model can perform fast, rigorous, authoritative transformer. Also, modeling mode decreases complexity designing various subsystem combining them controller.
